Handcrafted from wood by the ancient mestres d’aixa, (boatbuilder), the llaüt is the traditional fishing boat of the Balearic Islands.
Its low gunwales make sailing and rowing simple and provide easy access to the water.
Its teardrop shape, its cossia (central opening) and its lateen sail, which can be used as a method of propulsion or as a canopy, make it truly unique.

What is the range and speed of your wooden boats?
The range and speed depend on the size and features of the boat you want. Their range is typically 8 hours at cruising speed and their speed is around 5 to 6 knots.
What charging system do the boats have?
In general, if the pleasure craft is small (up to 7 metres), it is usually fitted with a plug-in charging system. Larger boats work with both systems (plug-in and solar panels) with a hybrid option, too (panels and batteries). All our boats can be charged at ports hassle free.
Is the aftercare of a wooden boat costly?
Not at all. Our construction process guarantees greater durability and minimum maintenance For example, it can be revarnished once a year and painted after 10 years (depending on the care and use of the boat).
What is the useful life of the batteries?
From 3,000 to 4,500 cycles, with a battery discharge of 80%.
Can my wooden boat be kept out of the water?
Yes, as long as it is protected and properly maintained.
